My partner and I used to more regularly drive out to random towns around Minnesota and do whatever fun, odd activity that was in the town. Then lockdown happened and we moved and all was chaos. But we gave it a shot last week by going out to Treasure Island Casino. Not to gamble, but to try out the new swim up bar. The only one in Minnesota. Now you can’t actually swim up to it but it is a funny experience to sit in a pool at a bar. Which is what we did for two hours. They also have jacuzzis in and outside as well as a lazy river and slides. We just hung out at the bar and stayed over night and it was a fine way to spend a few hours not dealing with real life. They have shows and bowling out there as well. They do lots of deals so if you’re interested in these types of things this is for you as an easy mini escape.
